2015 Estate Chardonnay – 91 points

The 2015 Chardonnay Estate exudes pronounced pineapple, guava and baked apricot notes with suggestions of candied ginger, brioche and butterscotch. Medium-bodied with a very sexy satiny texture, it has bold, ripe tropical fruit and spice flavors, off-set by plenty of freshness and finishing with great length. This is great value for a wine with this level of expression and depth!

2014 Reserve Chardonnay – 93+ points – 200 cases produced

The 2014 Chardonnay Reserve offers up notes of white grapefruit, lemon tart and white peaches with hints of struck match, baking bread and crushed stones. Medium-bodied with a gorgeous, silken texture and lively backbone cutting through the densely-packed citrus and savory layers, it finishes long and minerally.

2014 Summit Chardonnay – 92 points – 150 cases produced

The 2014 Chardonnay Summit Estate has very pretty floral notes of honeysuckle and orange blossoms over honeydew melon, nectarines and guava with a touch of aniseed. Medium to full-bodied with a pleasantly oily texture, it has a lively backbone supporting the generous melon and tropical fruit flavors, finishing with honeyed hints.

2014 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon – 89+ points

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is intensely scented of black currant cordial, blueberry pie and pencil shavings with hints of dried Mediterranean herbs, black soil and bell pepper. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with pure cassis and dried herbs flavors, supported by firm, chewy tannins, and finishing long and lively.

2014 Estate Cabernet, Block 11 – 91+ points – 100 cases produced

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Block 11 Estate gives pronounced blackberry preserves and crème de cassis notes with hints of cigar box, bay leaves and chargrill. Medium-bodied with a lovely elegance on the palate and bags of freshness, it has a great core of crushed black berry flavors with invigorating herbal accents, supported by chewy tannins and finishing long.

2014 Estate Zinfandel – 89 points – 500 cases produced

Medium garnet in color, the 2014 Zinfandel Estate offers an earthy nose of dusty soil and mossy bark with a good core of dried mulberries, raspberry preserves and spiced blackberry compote with a waft of potpourri. Medium to full bodied, this is a relatively fresh, vibrant, elegant style, with chewy tannins and racy acid to support, finishing long and spicy.

2014 Roger’s Schoolhouse Zinfandel – 90 points – 200 cases produced

Medium garnet in color, the 2014 Zinfandel Roger’s Schoolhouse offers spice box, oolong tea, dried roses and cardamom hints over baked plums, blueberry tart and blackberry jam plus a waft of sandalwood. It delivers loads of exotic spice and savory notes on the soft, supple, medium to full-bodied palate; it has a good line of freshness and a long, rather rustic finish.

2014 “Amber Block – Starr Ridge” Pinot Noir – 91 points – 100 cases produced

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Amber Block – Starr Ridge offers notes of crushed cranberries, red cherries and dried Provence herbs with hints of underbrush, lavender and black tea. Medium-bodied with a taut structure of grainy tannins and lively acid, it has a good amount of expressive red berry and earth flavors with an herbal lift on the finish.

2014 “Cooper Block – Starr Ridge” Pinor Noir – 91+ points – 100 cases produced

The 2014 Pinot Noir Cooper Block – Starr Ridge has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and nose of black raspberries, garrigue and fragrant earth with touches of kirsch, potpourri and peppercorns. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly fruited with fresh red berry and earth flavors supported by chewy tannins and refreshing acid line, finishing peppery.
